About Me

For over four decades, my life was defined by light.

I began in the era of film, the heavy weight of a 4×5 or 8×10 view camera on the tripod, the quiet anticipation before the shutter released. Later came the enormous 11×14 film, for Sears and other major clients, where every frame carried the discipline of precision. Film taught me patience, reverence, and respect for detail. Every sheet was precious. Every exposure mattered.

When the world shifted to digital, I shifted with it. I became fluent in the new language of pixels and sensors, mastering high-resolution capture long before it was standard. But what never changed was my obsession with light. In the studio, I became a sculptor of illumination, shaping highlights and shadows until a photograph breathed. Brands across Canada trusted me to make their products, their stories, their vision glow.

Yet, through all those years, another current was moving beneath the surface. While I learned to bend light with strobes and softboxes, I was also being called to something deeper: to become a student of the light within.

The same way film reveals a negative, life was slowly revealing a truth, that light is not only something outside of us, bouncing off surfaces and skin. Light is also what animates us, what speaks in silence, what arranges itself into patterns of geometry and soul.

And so, my lens turned inward. From photography, I began walking the path of metaphysical exploration, listening to the language of fractals, sound, and resonance. What emerged is what I now call Spiritfractals, artworks and writings that are not designed, but revealed. Each one carries a transmission of coherence, like a memory waiting to be remembered.

Today, my work bridges both worlds. I still honour the discipline of craft, the patience learned from large-format film, and the mastery of light from decades in the studio. But now, I write, paint, and create as a spiritual author and fractal artist, exploring the deeper illumination, the light of soul, the resonance of coherence, the patterns that unite science, art, and Spirit.

From film to digital to spiritual, my journey has always been about light.
Only now, it shines from the inside out.
